C15 Studio Secures Investment from Sports Investor Roger Ehrenberg

C15 Studio announces new investment from Roger Ehrenberg’s Eberg Capital.

C15 Studio secures investment from Roger Ehrenberg, early-stage investor in The Trade Desk and serial sports investor.

Earlier this year C15 Studio emerged from stealth mode with the launch of its network of streaming channels made in partnership with Formula 1, ONE Championship, Triton Poker Series, and the Professional Squash Association.

Founded in 2023 by Joe Nilsson and Amory Schwartz, C15 Studio secured early funding from U.S. sports investors, including KB Partners, Sharp Alpha Advisors, and Jim Pallotta’s Raptor Group.

C15 Studio specializes in operating, distributing, and monetizing FAST channels on behalf of top sports properties and is dedicated to delivering premium experiences for fans that leverage the shared operational resources and economies of scale made possible by a multi-channel network. Through partnerships with major FAST services like Samsung TV Plus, Pluto TV, and Amazon Freevee, C15 Studio’s channels are readily available to millions of viewers in the U.S. and beyond.

Eberg Capital, founded by Roger Ehrenberg, invests across the business of sports with a portfolio that includes the Miami Marlins, Real Salt Lake, Alpine Formula 1 Racing, and the fastest-growing sports betting operator, Betr. In 2010 Roger Ehrenberg (via IA Ventures) made the first early-stage investment in advertising industry disruptor, The Trade Desk (NASDAQ: TTD).

This investment from Eberg Capital comes as C15 Studio is preparing to announce a newly signed partner and fifth channel to the network.

We recognised how quickly C15 has established themselves as the ‘go-to’ in this space, and have great confidence in their strategy and approach. They’ve put together a talented team of sports broadcasting operators and built an impressive network of channels in less than twelve months.

Roger, as well as our other investors, brings more than just funding to C15 Studio. Having their collective experience and network around the table is tremendously impactful as we scale aggressively.

Joe Nilsson CEO of C15 Studio

C15 Studio recently appointed Chris Flatley, formerly of DISH’s Sling TV and FuboTV, as their VP of Advertising Sales for North America.
